Taliban places strict ban on cultivation of cash crop said to be responsible for world's supply of heroin

The Taliban has ordered a strict ban on poppy farming in Afghanistan. Cultivation of the cash crop, which produces opium, is believed to be responsible for much of the world's supply of heroin. A European Union delegation there says effective policies are needed to provide alternative livelihoods for thousands of poppy farmers. Zmaryalai Abasin reports from Kabul.
