Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited Bucha, where evidence of "massacres" of civilians was found, the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency reported on Monday.
He examined the road with destroyed Russian equipment and talked with local residents.
Answering a question from a journalist from BBC about whether it was still possible to discuss peace with Russia, he said, "Yes, because Ukraine must have peace. We are in Europe in the 21st century. We will continue efforts diplomatically and militarily."
