Moscow will respond to Germany and France over their decisions to expel dozens of Russian diplomats, Interfax news agency reported on Monday, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

On Monday, a "significant number" of officials at the Russian embassy in Germany were declared undesirable, Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said, adding that Berlin would also boost its support for Ukraine's armed forces.

France has also decided to expel several Russian diplomatic staff, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.
