The U.S. envoy will seek the suspension of Russia's membership in the UN Human Rights Council by order of President Joe Biden, said White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

The United States hopes to hold a meeting of the UN General Assembly on the said issue on April 7, said U.S. Permanent Representative to the world organization Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
