Peruvian president lifts curfew amid protests against surge in prices

Peruvian President Pedro Castillo lifted a curfew he had decreed less than a day earlier. The curfew was in response to protests against a surge in fuel prices, tolls and food prices. Protests erupted last week as people blocked some of the country's main highways to Lima.
