Northeast China's Jilin Province is making every effort to rein in a recent COVID-19 resurgence. Jilin City is seeing promising signs in the fight against the Omicron surge as over 10,000 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals since the beginning of this month. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has played a key role in the treatment of Omicron infections. The local health authority has recommended several TCM medicines, such as Lianhua Qingwen, to COVID-19 patients. Since March, the province has reported over 60,000 COVID-19 cases.
