Protests have been continuing in Lima, Ica and other parts of Peru over rising costs of basic commodities from food to fuel. A demonstrator was shot dead during clashes with police in Ica on Wednesday. President Pedro Castillo lifted a curfew in Lima Tuesday, less than a day after issuing it to quell the unrest.
