Russia's attack on Ukraine has entered its 43rd day. Western officials said Russian forces have withdrawn from around the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and north of the country. But the eastern regions of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk are seeing heavy fighting. Russian officials said the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are "more complicated than expected".
