The exclusion of Russia from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) may have devastating consequences for the system of this world organization, Russia's first deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyanskiy, wrote on his Telegram channel on Thursday.

The UN General Assembly in New York will vote on Thursday on a U.S. push to suspend Russia from the UNHRC.
