The Russian ruble grew rapidly at the opening of trading on Thursday, reaching its strongest levels against major currencies since February 23, Russian media reported.

The U.S. dollar fell to under 75 rubles for the first time since February 16, and the euro fell to 80.84 rubles, the lowest level since October 27, 2021, Russia's TASS news agency reported.
