China held an event, on Friday, commending those who have made outstanding contributions to the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games and the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Xi Jinping and other Chinese leaders, on Friday, conferred awards on representatives of those who have made outstanding contributions to the Games.

A total of 148 units and 148 individuals, including one awarded posthumously, were honored.
