The first phase of construction on an emergency hospital has been completed in the Hong Kong Lok Ma Chau Loop area. It is now able to provide 500 beds for patients, and a total of 1,000 will be available by the end of April. Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Public Works of the Shenzhen Municipality Du Weiping said "After the construction of the hospital is completed, our equipment, including CT and MRI devices, an ICU ward, and nursing unit is put in place, as well as accommodations and logistics support for our medical staff."
