U.S. blacklists Russian shipbuilder and diamond mining company

The United States has blacklisted two Russian state-owned enterprises, United Shipbuilding Corp and Alrosa diamond mining company, denying them access to the U.S. financial system, the Treasury Department said on Thursday.
Along with United Shipbuilding, the State Department sanctioned 28 subsidiaries and eight board members.
