China calls for strengthened macro policy coordination to boost global economy

China has called on BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries to strengthen coordination between their macro-economic policies to boost the global economy. Finance Minister Liu Kun made the remarks in a statement at a virtual meeting on Friday and said China will continue to deepen cooperation among the group's members.
