Eurasian red squirrels and Pallas's squirrels are two longtime residents at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing and are often seen wandering around foraging. As most of the site's visitors have a tacit agreement not to harm them, these little creatures can enjoy their leisurely springtime safe and sound.
