Russia's telecom watchdog Roskomnadzor said in a statement on Monday that it demanded Google to take immediate measures to eliminate threats against Russian users from its services.

The statement said that Google translate service provided Russian users with a translation of the phrase "dead Russians" when entering the phrase "dear Russians."

There is no response from Google yet.
