Putin, Lukashenko arrive at Vostochny Cosmodrome in east Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia's Far Eastern region of Amur on Tuesday, Belarusian BelTa News Agency reported. 

The two leaders will get acquainted with the construction of the launch space complex, communicate with pilot-cosmonauts and employees of the cosmodrome. 

April 12 is also the International Day of Human Space Flight, which marks the date of the first human space flight, carried out by Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet citizen. 

During the visit, Putin will also discuss with Lukashenko the Ukraine crisis.
