Chechen leader Kadyrov says over 1,000 Ukrainian marines surrender

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said in his Telegram account that more than 1,000 Ukrainian marines surrendered in Mariupol on Wednesday.

He added that hundreds of them were wounded and claimed that only small groups of Ukrainian forces were still hiding in the city.

There is currently no response from the Ukrainian side yet.
