Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, inspected the Yangpu Economic Development Zone in the city of Danzhou, south China's Hainan Province, on Tuesday. Yangpu Economic Development Zone is China's first national-level development zone allowing foreign investment and a free trade zone policy. The regional international container hub port has opened 39 domestic and foreign trade routes, covering domestic coastal areas and major ports in Southeast Asia.
