The Finnish parliament would debate NATO membership next week, Prime Minister Sanna Marin said on Wednesday at a joint press conference with Swedish Magdalena Andersson in Stockholm.

Marin didn't give a timetable on the decision for NATO but said it would come in weeks, not months.

Earlier, Swedish newspaper reported that Prime Minister Andersson's goal is for Sweden to apply for NATO membership in June this year.
