Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzyanyk said on Wednesday that he has no information about the surrender of a Ukrainian marine brigade in Mariupol, which had earlier been alleged by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"I don't have any information," Motuzyanyk said in reply to a request for comment after Russia alleged that 1,026 soldiers of Ukraine's 36th Marine Brigade had surrendered in the besieged southern port city.
