'Cliff flowers' bring vitality to Beijing's Miaofeng Mountain
On the cliffs of Miaofeng Mountain in the Mentougou District of Beijing, tiny white star-shaped flowers decorate precipices. The maple leaf clematis (Clematis acerifolia Maxim.), a species endemic to Beijing, grows only in crevices on the cliff, gaining the nickname "cliff flower."
