In Ukraine, fighting has intensified in the southeastern city of Mariupol. The U.S. has announced an extra $800 million in military aid to the country, including heavy artillery. We spoke to Zhang Xin, an associate professor at the School of Politics and International Relations at East China Normal University. He says the U.S. is getting more involved in the conflict, and so is NATO.
