Russian court sentences Navalny supporter to 6 months in jail: RIA

A Russian court on Thursday ordered Lyubov Sobol, an activist supporting Alexei Navalny, to be jailed for six months, replacing earlier parole-like restrictions, RIA news agency has reported.
Sobol had previously been handed 18 months of parole-like restrictions in August 2021 for flouting COVID-19 curbs during protests.
