Shanghai, the mega-city now being hit hard by the Omicron variant, will continue adhering to the dynamic zero-COVID principle with more patients being discharged from temporary hospitals after recovery.

On April 13, the city discharged 334 COVID-19 patients after recovery in hospitals, and more than 6,000 were discharged from quarantine or medical observation.
