April 15 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Mauritius. To commemorate the occasion, CGTN and Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation launched an online media event. The two sides held a forum where CMG President Shen Haixiong and Mauritius Foreign Minister Alan Ganoo delivered video speeches. The event aims to build a platform for youth exchanges, boost media cooperation and further develop relations between China and Africa.
