Pandemic magnifies crisis of U.S.-style human rights

According to statistics from Johns Hopkins University, as of April 13, 2022, the total number of COVID-19 infections in the U.S. has exceeded 80 million, and the cumulative number of deaths has exceeded 980,000. The U.S. has the most advanced medical equipment and technology in the world, but it has become the country with the highest number of infections and deaths in the world. Over the past two years, the U.S. has fallen into a "systematic failure" in response to the epidemic.
