Nucleic acid testing agencies in China say they can process over 50 million samples per day. Currently, the country has over 13,000 qualified nucleic acid testing institutions, with nearly 150,000 people working in them. A National Health Commission official said mass nucleic acid testing has been an effective tool to curb the spread of the epidemic within China.
