The Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, started its 34th session on Monday in Beijing. According to the proposed agenda of the session, lawmakers will review draft laws on futures and derivatives as well as the protection of black soil. They will also deliberate on draft revisions to the Vocational Education Law, the Physical Culture and Sports Law, and the Law on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests.
