The Jordanian Foreign Ministry summoned Israel's Charge d'Affaires Sami Abu Janeb to protest against Israel's raid at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said that the country will host an emergency meeting of Arab League foreign ministers on Thursday to discuss the Israeli escalation.
