IAEA says Chernobyl nuclear plant has restored ties with state regulator

Ukraine informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Tuesday that direct communications between the national regulator and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant had been restored, more than a month after such contact was lost when Russian forces controlled the site, IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said.
