CGTN spoke with James Chang, managing partner for Regional Economic Clusters of PwC China, for his insights on the impact of the current geopolitical tensions on global green development and China's role in promoting clean energy. His views come against the backdrop of the Boao Forum for Asia, which is taking place in south China's Hainan Province. 

The annual report "Sustainable Development: Asia and the World" has been released at the forum. The report reviews the net-zero pledges by Asian countries, evaluates the diversity in green governance in Asia, and expands on the three main driving forces of the green pathway: green finance, green tech and the efforts that businesses make to lower their carbon footprints.
