Schools in China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) are gradually resuming in-person classes after months of suspension as the city's fifth wave of COVID-19 infections wanes. As part of the authorities' efforts to ease anti-pandemic restrictions, primary schools, kindergartens and international schools were allowed to reopen on Tuesday. Some gyms also reopened on Thursday with safety measures such as dividers between machines in place.
