Skateboarding becomes more mainstream in Singapore

Skateboarding has always been considered cool, rooted in music, culture and fashion. What it lacked was acceptance by society. Until recently, skateboarders were viewed as noisy trespassers, at odds with the public and the law. But that perception is changing. Ever since the conversation around adding the sport to the Olympics began, more people seem to be willing to get on board with the sport. Reporter Miro Lu talks to parents, kids and sports ambassadors to get a sense of the changing perceptions around skateboarding in Singapore.
