The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Friday that the United Kingdom and India have signed a new defense partnership. He has met with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The two leaders also agreed to cooperate on India's bid to build its own fighter jets. Trade ties were also high on the agenda. Johnson said he's told his negotiators to complete a free trade deal with India by November.
