Latvian ambassador to Ukraine Ilgvars Klava has returned to the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and resumed duties, Latvia's Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics confirmed. 

The minister said the embassy has operated in Kyiv since April 7.

Several countries, including Italy and the UK, have announced plans to reopen embassies in Kyiv following temporary relocation due to Russian operation in Ukraine.
