A child died and 47 people were rescued Saturday after a boat carrying around 60 migrants sank off Lebanon, where deadly sea crossings have spiraled due to an economic crisis.

Lebanese armed forces on Sunday discovered another 13 bodies near the coast of the northern city of Tripoli, raising the confirmed death toll to at least 14, according to local media.
