Japan reports first possible case of 'unknown hepatitis' in children

The first case of children possibly contracting hepatitis "without a known cause" has been reported in Japan, Japan's health ministry said on Monday.
On April 15, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported a significant increase in severe acute hepatitis in young children in Britain, with an occasional link to COVID-19.
