Shanghai's new COVID-19 cases: 2,472 confirmed; 16,983 asymptomatic

China's Shanghai on Sunday reported 2,472 new confirmed locally transmitted COVID-19 infections; and 16,983 local asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, the municipal health commission said Monday.
The city also logged 51 deaths on Sunday.
