Chinese President Xi Jinping has congratulated a forum marking 50 years since the discovery of an anti-malarial drug. In a letter, Xi said the medicine has helped China completely eradicate malaria. Xi spoke of the country's efforts to promote the drug, saving millions of lives in the process.
