A P&O ferry European Causeway, which operates between Larne and Cairnryan, was adrift off the coast of Larne, Northern Ireland, BBC reported on Tuesday.
P&O said the accident occurred due to a mechanical issue in the Irish Sea and a full inspection will take place when the ship is back in port.
