Chinese president Xi Jinping has called for better development of infrastructure. He made the remarks at a high level economic meeting on Tuesday. Xi stressed the importance of infrastructure for economic and social development. Officials agreed on speeding up construction of a comprehensive national transport network, including ports and inland waterways.
