The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control says around 190 severe hepatitis cases have been found in children around the world. And the World Health Organization says at least one child death has been reported. The outbreak was first reported this month in Britain, accounting for the majority of the cases. At least 12 countries have recorded such cases. More than a dozen of the patients have required liver transplants.
