Russians gathered to commemorate the 36th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant tragedy at the Mitino cemetery in Moscow, at a monument to the victims of the catastrophe. Ukrainians also held a commemoration by laying flowers at the statues of firefighters who sacrificed their lives during the disaster.
