The requirement to pay for gas in rubles is not blackmailing, and Russia remains a reliable supplier of energy resources, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

Payment by Poland and Bulgaria under gas contracts in the proper form will be the basis for the continuation of supplies, Peskov said, adding that Russia has calculated all the risks arising from the transfer of payment for gas in rubles.
