Tibetan antelopes pass through the Wudaoliang section of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway on their long migration every year. To ensure the safe passage of these animals, local rangers patrol the road day and night. But apart from looking after the animals, they must also ensure the safety of drivers and tourists. In Sanjiangyuan, rangers are among the many unsung heroes who have made wildlife protection their life-long vocation.
