IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi is holding a press conference in Vienna on Thursday, two days after his visit to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine.  

Grossi headed an expert mission on Tuesday to "deliver vital equipment and conduct radiological and other assessments" to the Chernobyl plant, according to the agency's statement.

During his trip, Grossi also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, saying the IAEA will continue to support Ukraine in ensuring the safety and security of its nuclear sites.
