Shanghai reports 1,292 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

Shanghai on Wednesday registered 1,292 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, and 9,330 asymptomatic cases, the municipal health commission said on Thursday.
The city also logged 47 deaths on Wednesday.
