Chinese scientists and mountaineers have made meticulous preparations for the most sophisticated expedition in decades to Mount Qomolangma in southwest China. They will collect climate and geographical data to unravel the mysteries of the atmosphere's power to clean itself from over 8,800 meters above sea level. After four days' work, atmosphere and human health scientists have installed a complete set of observation equipment at an altitude of 5,200m.
