Indonesian President Joko Widodo said he has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the G20 summit in Bali, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin also expressed his intention in a phone call to attend the summit.

"I have invited President Zelenskyy to attend the G20 summit," the leader of the host nation Indonesia said in a televised statement.
